Welcome to The John and Matthew Gaudreau Foundation, where we honor the enduring legacy of John and Matty by supporting projects and initiatives that align with the values and passions that they championed during their lives.
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to helping youth hockey initiatives, supporting hockey families that have faced tragedy and helping other families that have been affected by drunk driving, like ours.
We are passionate about ensuring that the joy of ice hockey is accessible for all youth. We believe that every child can benefit from activities that promote teamwork, discipline, and personal growth.
As family first men, John and Matty cared most of all about their young children. The JM Foundation is also eager to help other families that have suffered from devastating acts of drunk and reckless driving.

John and Matty grew up in Carneys Point, NJ with their parents Guy and Jane, sisters Kristen and Katie. They were known for being “all-star human beings”.

Dear Friends,
Thank you for visiting our website and your interest in our mission! We are thrilled to announce the launch of our foundation, dedicated to honoring the memory of our beloved husbands, John and Matty.
John and Matty made a tremendous and everlasting impact on everyone who knew them. In addition to their hockey talents, the boys were known for their kindness. The Foundation’s purpose is to continue giving back to what the boys are passionate about and to ultimately continue to make a positive impact on the world in their honor.
As Co-Presidents, we are committed to growing this foundation and expanding our initiatives in the coming months and years. Your support means the world to us as we embark on this journey together. We invite you to stay connected and join us in making a lasting impact in their memory.
Your support will promote and expand youth ice hockey opportunities, help hockey families facing tragedies, as well as help families that are unfortunately also affected by drunk driving, like ours.
